Terms & Conditions.
This website presents the work of Paula Gisler — architecture and interior projects, furniture and ceramic surfaces, and artist editions. It is not an online shop. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding offer, and no purchase can be made through it.
Pieces are made individually, in limited series or on demand. Enquiries lead to a conversation, a quotation, and a separate written agreement. The terms below describe how that works and what applies to the site itself.
1. Enquiries and orders
Prices and specifications shown here are indicative. A quotation is issued in response to an enquiry and is valid for thirty days unless stated otherwise.
An order becomes binding only when confirmed in writing by the studio. Payment terms, lead times, delivery and any deposit are set out in that confirmation and in the quotation, which together govern the order. Where those documents and these terms differ, the order confirmation prevails.
2. Hand-made work
Everything is made by hand, by named workshops. Tiles are painted individually at Viúva Lamego in Sintra; woodwork is made by Möbelwerkstatt Schmid Ernst in Malters.
Colour, tone, grain and finish vary between pieces, and glazes are batch produced and hand-applied. Dimensions and lead times are indicative rather than guaranteed. Variation of this kind is a property of the work, not a defect. Photographs, samples and screen colours are approximate.
3. Artist editions
Editions are produced in collaboration with the artist and, where applicable, their gallery. Each is numbered and issued with a certificate.
Rights in the artwork remain with the artist. Purchase of a piece transfers ownership of that physical object only, and conveys no right to reproduce the work.
4. Intellectual property
Texts, drawings, photographs and designs on this site belong to Paula Gisler or to the respective artists and partners, and may not be reproduced without written permission.

5. Architecture and interior projects
Project work is not covered by these terms. It is governed by a separate engagement agreement covering scope, fees, programme and responsibilities, agreed before work begins.
6. The website
Information here is provided with care but without guarantee of accuracy or completeness. The site may change or be unavailable at any time.
No liability is accepted for the content of external sites linked from these pages.
7. Personal data
Use of any data you send through this site is described in the privacy policy.
8. Governing law
Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Zurich, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that give a consumer the right to bring proceedings at their own place of residence.
Statutory warranty rights apply and are not limited by these terms.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version published here at the time an order is confirmed is the one that applies to that order.
